Dodger
Dodger is a black Labrador retriever born May 2001. He is a “career changed” dog from the
Puppy-In-Training Program from Guide Dogs of America. Dodger’s favorite past times are eating and
laying on the sofa. He is not
particularly fond of toys but surely loves a Kong bone frozen with pumpkin
inside. He loves being a therapy dog,
especially for doing reading therapy since it involves a lot of relaxing. Dodger is known for nesting and snorting into
his dog bed before settling in, and, for his tail which wags in “helicopter”
fashion. He is the artful Dodger in that
he will steal food at the instant you are not looking!

Paisley
Paisley is a yellow
Labrador retriever born May 2003. She is
a retired brood bitch for Guide Dogs of America and has had three beautiful
litters of Labradorables. She also
fostered a single golden retriever puppy in her second litter. Her second career as a therapy dog is
completely natural as she has such a strong desire to be loved. She just can’t get close enough and loves to
be petted. Paisley
has also found joy in “Splashdogs”, a dock diving dog sport. She has competed as various venues including
the L.A. and
Orange County Fairs, the Sportsman Show, and, The Bass Pro Shop. Her favorite toys are a yellow plastic
football and hard rubber sticks. She
also loves a good game of Tug of War.
Paisley and Dodger live
with Laurel Schuman along with two cats and a Betta Fish.
