| Paws to Heal was founded June 12, 2005
by Melanie Ruiz, Lori Montigel, Kelly Harms, Ann-Marie
Biden, and Donna Fernandez. All of the founders
came to know one another through Guide Dogs of America in
Sylmar, CA and are current/past puppy raisers.
The mission of Paws to Heal is to promote and provide animal assisted activities and animal assisted therapy in a variety of settings throughout the Inland Empire. We achieve our mission by utilizing the therapeutic nature of the human-animal connection to positively affect the lives of others. Paws To Heal is comprised of volunteers that use their certified personal pets for therapy needs throughout the Inland Empire of Southern California.
